It is sad to see that the Canadian universal health care system is declining in results . What is causing this negative trend and what should we do about it? It is not the spending as we have one of the highest spending levels that delivers one of the poorest results . How do we heal a failing system which consumes so much of our public resources?

compares 31 high-income countries that have universal health care systems.
